Big moments seemed to define his career: A blocked punt recovered for a touchdown in the 1990 upset of No. 21 Arkansas and the fourth quarter game-clinching interception return for a touchdown against No. 20 Texas in 1992. He was tabbed All-SWC in 1992 and the team’s MVP. He’s still first in interception returns for touchdowns (2) and has 191 career tackles and eight picks.
