STEVE STAMP
QUARTERBACK
1978-81
Once the record-holder in several passing categories, Stamp remains one of the most productive quarterbacks of all time. The team’s leading passer three straight seasons, Stamp co-owns the record for most touchdown passes in a game (5). He’s second in career yards (5,123) and career completions (350), fourth in career touchdown passes (34) and also has the fifth- and sixth-highest passing yardage totals for a season (2,013 and 1,830, respectively). He held school records for passing yards in a season and a career until Max Knake shattered them in the 1990s. He was the team MVP in 1981.
