TCU Magazine "Academe"

That '30s show

Student, faculty and alumni performers from the College of Fine Arts -- including Sallie Pummill Pollack '95, Amy Pummill Stewart '96 and Julie Pummill Dean '02 -- took an audience of more than 330 back to the booming sights and sounds of the music of yesteryear during the Deep Purple Gala. The event, which raised more than $230,000 for scholarships for the college, showcased the TCU Jazz Ensemble, the TCU Steel Drum Band, the TCU Concert Chorale, the TCU Marching Band, the TCU Faculty Jazz Trio, TCUDance and TCU Musical Theatre Ensemble.
