New women's tennis coach Dave Borelli is no stranger to national championships -- he has seven of them.

In 14 seasons at the University of Southern California his teams were tops in women's tennis half his years there. They also finished as runners-up three times and won 10 conference titles. Five singles players and two doubles teams captured national titles under Borelli, who posted an impressive 300-45 dual win-loss record.

Now, Borelli comes to Fort Worth and takes over the program following the retirement of longtime coach Roland Ingram. Last season the Frogs were 21-5, including a Conference USA championship and NCAA Regional berth.

"TCU has an excellent tradition in women's tennis, and I hope to be a part of the team's future successes," Borelli said.

Most recently, Borelli served as men's professional tour coach for the U.S. Tennis Association's Rookie Pro Program.
